Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation, checking in, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. These terms may be updated from time to time without notice.

2. Booking & Reservations

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Guests must be at least 18 years old to book a room.

  • A valid government-issued ID (e.g., NIN, Driver’s License, or Passport) is required at check-in.

  • Bookings are only guaranteed upon receipt of payment or formal confirmation from hotel staff.

  • Prices quoted are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include VAT where applicable.

3. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in time: 2:00 PM

  • Check-out time: 12:00 PM

  • Early check-in and late check-out may be requested but are not guaranteed. Extra charges may apply.

4. Payment Policy

  • Payments can be made online via our website, by bank transfer, or in cash/card upon arrival.

  • A deposit may be required to confirm a booking.

  • Full payment is required before or at the time of check-in unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before check-in will be eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in or no-shows will attract a one-night charge or forfeit of deposit.

  • Refunds (where applicable) are processed within 7 working days via the original payment method.

6. Guest Conduct

  • Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respect hotel staff, property, and other guests.

  • Smoking is not allowed inside rooms. Designated smoking areas are provided.

  • Illegal activities or substances on the premises will result in immediate removal without refund and possible police involvement.

7. Damage & Loss

  • Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.

  • The hotel is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings. Safes are available in rooms for valuables.

8. Visitors Policy

  • Only registered guests are allowed in rooms after 10:00 PM.

  • Unregistered visitors must present valid ID and may not stay overnight without additional charges.

9. Children & Extra Beds

  • Children under 12 stay free when using existing bedding with a parent or guardian.

  • Extra beds are available on request and may attract additional charges.

10. Bar, Lounge & Entertainment

  • The hotel bar and lounge are open to guests and the public.

  • Live performances and entertainment events may take place occasionally. Guests will be informed in advance where possible.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our control, such as strikes, natural disasters, government regulations, or power outages.

12. Limitation of Liability

White House Hotel is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of its services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.

13. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for service delivery and will never be sold or misused.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
